Description: The root image of a snow hare for this piece is quite defined and helped to make me realize that being more literal with my root images is the direction I want to take with my future abstract works. When I was young my family used to watch a TV show called The Nature of Things every week and one of my favorite episodes was of a hare camouflaging itself in the winter snow to hide from a wild cat. Although it's natural defense mechanism didn't work, the chase that ensued was amazing to watch as the hare evaded it's predator. I've been an admirer of rabbits/hares/bunnies ever since and always associated the arctic hare with the winter season.
